Trumpet Pods are found locally in South America. In nature, these pods disperse seeds after the tree's fruit has fallen away, leaving the tube-like shells. Our replicas are made from strong food safe and impact resistant materials. Molded from dried specimens, they retain all the detail of the original pods. These are intrinsically tinted to keep vibrant colors after rigorous use and cleanings. The pods are roughly 3 inches long. The internal chambers are roughly 2 inches deep and the openings are roughly 1/2 inch wide. The stem section is roughly 12 inches long. The stem and portions of the pods have poly rope internally cast to provide strength. As each enrichment is hand cast and tinted, color may vary slightly.
