Banksia pods come from flowering plants in Australia. They are an essential food source for nectarivorous animals, including birds, bats, rats, possums, stingless bees, and a host of invertebrates. Our replicas are made from strong, food-safe, and impact-resistant materials. These are molded from real, ethically sourced specimens to maintain minute details. These are intrinsically tinted to keep vibrant colors after rigorous use and cleanings. Our Banksia pod features multiple cavities for various food uses. The Banksia pod measures approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter and is roughly 8 1/2 inches tall. As each enrichment is hand-cast and tinted, color may vary slightly.
